Application Security Protocols
- Virtual Private Cloud (VPC): All Accupoint Cloud deployments run in a virtual private cloud. This VPC has its own set of private IP addresses from which subnets are allocated.
- Security—SSL 256-bit SSL Security: All information travelling between your browser and Accupoint Software data centers are protected from eavesdroppers with 256-bit SSL encryption. The lock icon in your browser lets you verify that your data is secure in transit.
- Firewalls: All Accupoint applications - including your data - rest securely behind numerous hardware based firewalls.
- Multi-Tenancy: Each client is set up on an individual database instance. Accupoint Software does not utilize a multi-tenant database model, ensuring that your data can only be accessed by your team.
- Reliability: The Accupoint ecosystem uses redundant storage and servers to keep the application and your data available in the case of a hardware failure. In addition, server access is restricted by an independent VLAN requiring VPN access. Intrusion prevention and virus scanning are enabled at this layer as well.
- Managed hosting: The data in your Accupoint workspace is replicated across multiple database servers in distinct geographic locations to prevent a single failure from causing data loss. Additionally, all data is backed up nightly and stored in a secure offsite location to ensure that your information is safe and your records can be restored quickly.
- Client Confidentiality: In an effort to protect your identity, Accupoint will never disclose your organization's name as a reference or in related marketing materials. If they don't know your online, they can't come looking for your data.
