Process Safety Management software for oil & gas operations.
Bring control and confidence to process safety management. In environments where the margin for error is small, Accupoint connects safety processes, documentation and performance data in one system — so teams gain clarity, accountability, and confidence across operations.
THE CHALLENGE
Why process safety management is difficult to sustain.
In oil and gas operations, process safety is not just about compliance. It is about preventing incidents before they happen and maintaining control in environments where the margin for error is small. Meeting Process Safety Management requirements is one thing, managing them consistently across operations is another.
Organizations working under PSM requirements often face a common set of challenges: safety information stored across multiple systems and formats, difficulty maintaining up-to-date operating procedures, limited visibility into corrective actions and follow-up, inconsistent management of change across teams, and time-consuming audit preparation and documentation retrieval.
THE SOLUTION
Connect process safety across your operations.
Accupoint Software helps oil and gas organizations bring structure to process safety management with the PSM platform. Instead of managing safety elements separately, Accupoint brings them together into a single, structured environment — allowing teams to maintain consistent procedures across facilities, track hazards, incidents and corrective actions with full visibility, ensure accountability for safety-related tasks and approvals, and access accurate records at any time for audits or reviews.

DESIGNED FOR HIGH RISK OPERATIONS
Designed for high-risk oil and gas environments.
Process safety management looks different across upstream, midstream, and downstream operations. Accupoint Software is built to support each environment while maintaining consistency:
Upstream Operations
Improve visibility into hazards and field activities.
Midstream Teams
Maintain control over asset integrity and pipeline safety.
Downstream Facilities
Manage complex processes with structured oversignt.
HOW ACCUPOINT HELPS
Support every element of process safety management.
Process hazard analysis & operating procedures
Process safety requires coordination across multiple disciplines. Accupoint helps simplify this by organizing key requirements into structured workflows that support daily operations:
Process hazard analysis with structured risk evaluation
Operating procedures with controlled updates and approvals
Employee participation and safety communication tracking
Training, competency & mechanical integrity
Keeping people and assets ready is foundational to process safety. Accupoint aligns training and integrity tracking with day-to-day operations:
Training and competency management aligned with roles
Mechanical integrity tracking for equipment and assets
Management of change with full impact visibility
Startup readiness, contractor safety & investigations
Beyond the foundational elements, Accupoint extends coverage across readiness and incident response:
Pre-startup safety reviews to confirm readiness
Contractor safety oversight and qualification tracking
Incident investigation with root cause analysis
Emergency response & compliance evidence
Accupoint Software closes the loop with emergency planning and audit-ready compliance documentation:
Emergency planning and response coordination
Compliance audits with documented evidence
Process safety information maintained and accessible
SAFETY CULTURE
Build a stronger safety culture across your organization.
Process safety is not only about systems. It is about how people interact with those systems. When employees have clear procedures, accessible information, and defined responsibilities, participation improves. Communication becomes more consistent, and safety becomes part of daily operations rather than a separate task.
Accupoint supports this by making safety processes easier to follow and easier to manage, helping organizations build a culture where accountability and awareness are shared across teams.
COMMON QUESTIONS
Accupoint PSM Software FAQs
Accupoint PSM Software FAQs
OSHA Process Safety Management, or PSM, is a federal regulation under 29 CFR 1910.119 that requires facilities handling highly hazardous chemicals above specific threshold quantities to prevent catastrophic releases. It covers fourteen program elements, from process hazard analysis to emergency planning, and applies broadly across oil and gas, petrochemical, and chemical processing operations.
Any upstream, midstream, or downstream facility that processes, stores, or handles highly hazardous chemicals above OSHA's threshold quantities falls under PSM requirements. This commonly includes gas processing plants, refineries, and pipeline facilities where a release could create a significant safety risk to workers or the surrounding community.
The fourteen elements include process safety information, process hazard analysis, operating procedures, employee participation, training, contractor safety, pre-startup safety review, mechanical integrity, hot work permits, management of change, incident investigation, emergency planning, compliance audits, and trade secrets. Each element addresses a different part of preventing and responding to process safety incidents.
Management of Change is the PSM element that requires organizations to evaluate and document the safety impact of any change to process chemicals, technology, equipment, or procedures before that change is implemented. Without a structured MOC process, undocumented changes are one of the most common root causes of process safety incidents.
Accupoint Software keeps process safety information, procedures, training records, and corrective actions in one connected system instead of spread across spreadsheets and shared drives, so documentation can be retrieved quickly during an OSHA inspection or internal audit. This reduces the time spent assembling evidence and lowers the risk of missing or outdated records.
